Fulton Man Charged With Burglary, Arson

OSWEGO, NY – On 7/19/12 at 2:27 p.m., Brandon L. Flynn, 29, of 3605 S. Seventh St., Fulton, was arrested for third-degree burglary, a class D felony and petit larceny.

The charges stem from the investigation into an incident that occurred at an organization in the town of Volney in May 2012 where monies were stolen after he allegedly forced entry into the building.

At the same time, Mr. Flynn was arrested for third-degree arson, a class C felony and second-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony.

These charges are the result of the investigation into a joint investigation with the Fulton Police Department involving a stolen vehicle that was intentionally set on fire in the town of Volney.

Mr. Flynn was arraigned in the Town of Volney by Hon. Judge Kerfien and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond due to the combined charges.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Volney Court on 7/30/12.
