Fulton Man Charged With Rape, Other Felonies

OSWEGO, NY – On Tuesday at 3:40 p.m., Timothy J. Paternoster, 32, of 273 MacDougall Road, Fulton, was arrested for two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, a class B misdemeanor; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor; third-degree criminal sex act, a class E felony; third-degree rape, a class E felony; and two counts of second-degree criminal sale of marihuana, a class D felony.

The arrest stems from the investigation into incidents that occurred in September 2013 in the town of Volney.

He allegedly engaged in in sexual intercourse, oral sexual conduct, hand to vagina contact and hand to penis contact with the victim after providing them marihuana.

Paternoster was arraigned by Hon. Judge Adkins in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000/$10,000 bail.

He is to appear in Town of Volney Court on Dec. 9.
