Fulton Music Association Thanks La Manna, Pinheiro For Their Performance

On behalf of the Fulton Music Association (FMA), I’d like to offer my most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Juan La Manna, pianist, and Ligia Ravenna Pinheiro, classical ballet dancer and choreographer, for their magnificent performance Friday, March 23 at G. Ray Bodley High School.

Pianist Juan Francisco La Manna and classical ballet dancer Ligia Ravenna Pinheiro (above) performed “Stepping Through Time: 200 Years of Gestures in Dance and Music” Fri., March 23, in the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium, for the benefit of the Fulton Music Association.

Dr. La Manna’s music coupled with Ms. Pinheiro’s dancing was breathtaking and extremely moving for the audience. It was most gracious of them to share their time and talent for the benefit of FMA. Their collaboration in classical music and dance featured the Baroque, Romantic, Classical, and Modern periods.

We are extremely fortunate to have Dr. La Manna as orchestra director at SUNY Oswego, and to have his lovely wife, Ligia favor us with her talents for the benefit of community music in Fulton.

Again, our thanks and appreciation for your performance.

Steve Chirello, President, Fulton Music Association
