FULTON, NY – The Fulton Family YMCA is offering a new program for youth 8-11 years of age.
It is called F.N.F.C – Friday Night Fit Club.
This program is designed to put your child through a very active workout allowing for a little free play afterwards. We want to make sure the kids see the fun in working out by adding a little free play, said Brandon Hood and Trish Bartlett – Fulton Family YMCA certified personal trainers.
Each class will be followed up with a half hour nutrition component which will engage your child in asking them to help identify the good foods from the bad foods.
Our goal is to educate all youth on proper nutrition and physical activities which will be very beneficial, long term, in your child’s health.
Contact the Fulton Family YMCA today to sign up as there are a limited number of openings.
This eight-week program is being offered on Fridays, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and is designed and instructed by two of our own certified personal trainers.
The trainers will have each person working in 30-second stations: Example – jumping jacks, frog jump/backward run, bear crawl/crab walk/ push-up partner clap, side shuffles- down and back, squat and jabs, front kicks, high knees, burpees and planks.
The workout is not the same every week.
There is a member rate and a non member rate to participate.
