OSWEGO, NY – On Wednesday investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Fulton City Police Department, arrested Thomas Knopp, 31, and Tifffany M. Braunig, 27, both of 121 W. Broadway, Fulton.
The arrests were based on arrest warrants that had been issued by Oswego County Court as a result of Knopp and Braunig being indicted on the following charges by an Oswego County Grand Jury:
Four counts- Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – Class B Felony
Four counts- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Intent to sell – Class B Felony
Two counts- Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – Class B Felony
Two counts- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Intent to sell – Class B Felony
It is alleged that, pursuant to an Oswego County Drug Task Force investigation, Knopp did sell heroin on four separate occasions and Braunig did sell heroin on two separate occasions, all within the city of Fulton.
Both were arraigned in Oswego County Court.
Knopp was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail / $10,000 bond.
Braunig was placed on pre-trial release.
Both are due back in Oswego County Court on March 16.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, NYS University Police at Oswego, Fulton City Police Department and Oswego City Police Department.
