Fulton PD: 9/6/10 – 9/12/10

Nicholas J. Ippolito, Jr., 35, of 863 Oneida St., Fulton was charged on Sept. 6 with felony DWI and speeding. Police allege Ippolito was pulled over for driving 49 miles an hour in a 30 mile an hour zone in the 600 block of E. Broadway. During the traffic stop, police allege Ippolito had poor motor coordination and had to be told several times to provide his license and registration. He allegedly failed three field sobriety tests and the alphabet test. He was charged with felony DWI because of a 2002 conviction for DWI.

Devan D. Miller, 19, of Monroe Ave., Brockport was charged on Sept. 6 with burglary and petit larceny. Police allege that sometime between August 5 and 19, he stole gold necklaces and bracelets from a home on Seneca St. worth $1,000.

Mark A. Grandazzo, 33, of 120 Division St., Fulton was charged on Sept. 7 with harassment for allegedly yelling at a person through a closed door, and for kicking the door.

Michael J. Turner, 27, of 20 Rose Lane, Fulton was charged Sept. 7 with criminal mischief and harassment for an incident at a home on W. Third St. S. Police allege he threatened to harm a woman and damage her property, kicked and broke a bedroom door, punched a hole in a wall, threw and broke the victim’s cell phone and broke a window.

Melinda-Sue Burnswick, 24, of 7 Birch Lane, Fulton was charged Sept. 9 with aggravated harassment. Police allege she left a message on a woman’s cell phone threatening to harm her if she did not purchase a new pair of underwear for Burnswick.

Joshua A. Johnson, 28, of 628 Valley Dr., Syracuse was charged Sept. 9 with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police allege that while in the parking lot of the Motel 6 in the town of Dewitt, he possessed 2.8 grams of a substance police believe was cocaine.

Shawn D. Mazzole, 22, of 105 Williams St., Solvay was charged Sept. 10 with criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, menacing and harassment. Police allege that on July 7 at a home in Solvay, Mazzole hit a woman in the ear with a fan, then threw the fan at her and missed, then threw a chair at her and missed. Police allege Mazzole threatened harm to a 14 year old boy.

Thomas A. Loguidice, Jr., 27, of 256 S. Seventh St., Fulton was arrested on a warrant from Fulton City Court on Sept. 10 charging criminal sex act, rape and endangering the welfare of a child. He is alleged to have had intercourse and oral sex with a 16 year old girl.

Timothy R. A. Howell, 27, of 120 Division St., Fulton was charged Sept. 10 with unlawful imprisonment and menacing. Police allege that during a domestic dispute, he climbed on top of a woman and tried to choke her. Later, as she was trying to get help, Howell is accused of pushing her down and choking her for 15 seconds until she got free and sought help.

Shawn M. Furbeck, 38, of 209 W. Fifth St., Fulton was charged Sept. 11 with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. Police allege he threatened a woman with a 2 foot long machete and said he was going to kill her. The weapons possession charge was upgraded because of a prior petit larceny conviction.

Lisa M. Gee, 39, of 6 Margaret St., Baldwinsville was charged Sept. 11 with DWI, driving while talking on a cell phone and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. Police allege they spotted Gee talking on her cell phone while driving on N. Second St. Police allege she smelled of alcohol and showed signs of intoxication. She allegedly failed three field sobriety tests and scored above 0.08% blood alcohol content on a test later at the police station.

Ronald W. Tompkins, 21, of 401 Cayuga St., Fulton was charged Sept. 12 with criminal mischief and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police allege he beat a metal door at his residence with a golf club, and kicked the door until the wooden door casing broke and the door broke open. Police allege they found a metal pipe with marijuana residue in his pocket.

Amanda M. Aikens, 24, of 125 Lyon St., Fulton was charged with petit larceny Sept. 12 for allegedly taking four items of clothing worth $64.96 from the K-Mart in Fulton.
