FULTON, NY, – At about 1 a.m. Wednesday, Fulton Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence located in the 1000 block of Cayuga Street.
The caller reported that they had woken up to someone standing in the living room and upon being discovered the suspect fled on foot out a backdoor.
A clothing description was relayed to patrol units and within minutes officers located a subject matching the description walking in the 700 block of Oneida Street.
The subject was later positively identified by the victim as the person they had discovered inside the residence.
Arrested in the incident was: Jarl L. Brennan, 17, of 314 N. Sixth St. Fulton.
He was charged with decond-degree burglary (C felony) and attempted petit larceny (B misdemeanor).
Brennan was arraigned in Fulton City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail.
Bail was set at $15,000 cash and $25,000 bond.
The investigation into the incident is on going and Fulton Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call 598-2008 or 593-TIPS.
