Fulton Police Charge Man With Robbing Woman

A Fulton man was arrested for robbing a woman along a city street.

Fulton Police charged Phillip Z. Butler of 513 S. First St., Fulton with robbery, grand larceny, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Police say a woman told them as man pushed her down about about 10:50 p.m. near the corner of S. Fourth St. and Highland St.  She said he took property from her and ran off.

A few minutes later, police say they spotted Butler in the 200 block of Highland St.  He would not stop when asked to do so, they claimed, and he tried to pull away from the arresting officers.

Butler was arraigned by Fulton City Court Judge Spencer Ludington and sent to the Oswego County Correctional Facility on bail of $2500 cash  or $5000 bond.
