FULTON, NY – The annual Fulton Police Department Bicycle Rodeo will be held May 31 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
It focuses on educating children about bicycle safety.
The children will receive a new bicycle helmet, choose a used bicycle to keep (while supplies last) and ride through a police-directed obstacle course.
They can also register their bike, play in the bouncy rides, and receive free refreshments.
This is a community collaboration, led by the Fulton Police Department.
More bicycles are needed to give away at the event.
Doyle’s Bikes in Fulton repairs donated bicycles to make them safe to ride, before they are given to children of all ages at the Bicycle Rodeo.
Anyone with an underused or unwanted bicycle to donate can drop it off at Doyle’s Bikes, 316 W First St, Fulton weekday afternoons.
For information, call 592-4537.
The more bicycles received, the more can be given away!
