Fulton Rotarians Hear About OCO’s Family Care Program

Penny, a Family Care Specialilst with the Mental Health Division of OCO, talked about the residental program for adults recovering from a mental illness. Family Care provides support and supervision for individuals who need a minimum level of structure and supervision in order to achieve or maintain improved stability with community living Family Care provides an opportunity to live in a private family home in the community and receive the support and guidance of a caring family. A Family Care Provider may be a family or an individual who feels rewarded by helping others. Residents are carefully screened and matched with a suitable home provider.
