Fulton Rotary Club Learns About ARISE

FULTON – Sabine Ingerson, director of Oswego County ARISE, recently presented a program to the Fulton Rotary Club.

Sabine was introduced by Rotarian Nancy Kush Ellis.

Sabine explained that ARISE was formed in 1979 in Oswego, Onondaga and Madison counties.

The agency is dedicated to promoting opportunities, choice, and civil rights for people of all ages, with all types of disabilities.

ARISE believes that individuals with disabilities have the right to dignity, personal responsibility and self-determination.

They promote the full inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the community.
