Fulton Salvation Army Donations Down – Bell Ringers Wanted

Fulton, NY – The Fulton Salvation Army needs bell ringers immediately. Heavy snow and fewer volunteers have hampered its annual red kettle campaign.

According to the Fulton Corps Officer, Captain Kevin Brennan, “We really need more volunteers. We’re down about $16,000 from last year at this time. This community has been very generous. We’re praying for a boost in volunteers and donations during the final weeks. Red kettle donations help us provide emergency assistance to those in need throughout the year.”

Church groups. service organizations, businesses, and individuals are encouraged to volunteer. Bell ringers are needed at various locations, including Walmart, Tops, Save-A-Lot, Price Chopper, IGA, and Kmart.

To volunteer, call the Fulton Salvation Army at (315) 593-8442.
