FULTON – The Fulton City School District cares about its community!
Each month throughout the 2016-17 school year, all FCSD buildings will collect items to donate to local agencies and organizations that assist its students and families.
Some items from the collection will be reserved to stock FCSD elementary, junior high school and high school clothing closets and meet immediate needs that arise.
During September, new and gently-used backpacks and non-perishable healthy snacks were collected. Throughout October, hats and mittens were collected.
The following new and gently-used items will be collected over the next several months: (November) shoes and boots, (December) hoodies, (January) all new non-perishable food items, (February) books, (March) socks, (April) all new hygiene items, (May) toys and games and (June) school supplies.
The program aims to join FCSD schools and the greater Fulton community in the spirit of helping neighbors in need.
If possible, please join us the local schools in this act of giving.
All items each month may be dropped off at any FCSD school.
