FULTON, NY – (By Dave Medler) – In just a few short seasons the NAPA Auto Parts sponsored Late Models have become one of the most competitive and popular weekly classes at the Fulton Speedway. Led by defending track champion Dale Caswell the Late Model class has become a fan favorite with their door to door, fender to fender action throughout the field in their 20 lap features.
After a successful 2013 season which saw an increased field from 2012, Speedway management is looking forward to having the class back at the Fulton Speedway again on a weekly basis.
Several new teams are expected to join the Late Model ranks this season to complement a strong group of returning competitors. Additionally, the Late Models will return to action at Brewerton with approximately three shows scheduled in 2014.
To assist their continued growth, track officials have announced there are no rule changes for the 2014 season, however a transition to a Hoosier tire for 2015 is possible.
