FULTON, NY – Following the final performance of Quirk’s Players’ recent production of the musical comedy Damn Yankees, the student theatre troupe at G. Ray Bodley High School honored two special individuals, retired GRB physical education teacher Dave Garber and GRB English teacher Rob Lescarbeau.
Both were honored for dedication, service and countless hours spent working with the theatre students at Bodley High School.
From designing and building sets and scenery, to working on character development, to acting alongside students, both men have had a profound and positive influence on many students.
The student members of Quirk’s Players took this opportunity to formally say “thank you” to two great friends with plaques and flowers.
This school year also marks the tenth year Lescarbeau has been a part of the Quirk’s Players’ production staff.
The students in Quirk’s Players thank Garber and Lescarbeau for all that they do and look forward to more years and many more productions with both of them.
Joining them for special recognition are several members of the class of 2012 who are also members of Quirk’s Players.
