Fulton To Offer Tennis League, Clinics This Summer

FULTON – The Fulton Department of Parks and Recreation will offer weekly tennis clinics for children ages 13 and younger every Monday beginning June 25, 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. at the G. Ray Bodley High School tennis courts.

This is an opportunity for kids to learn the rules and the techniques to play the game of tennis.

Cost for the clinic is $150 per student per night.

Also being offered this summer is the Summer Tennis League for ages 13 and older.

Adults are also welcomed to play.

Registration cost for the league is $50.

There will be a meet and greet June 20 at the tennis courts at G. Ray Bodley and league play begins June 27.

Instructor and coach for the tennis clinics and league is Geoff Sawyer.

He is a local tennis instructor who has 13 years playing experience with four years at the collegiate level.

He has also coached at SUNY Oswego for both men’s and women’s programs.
