FULTON, NY – Fulton Police have charged Kimberly L. Reed, 24 of Division Street in Fulton, with robbing a local video rental store.
On January 22, Fulton Police responded to a reported robbery at the Family Video Store at 104 W. Broadway in Fulton.
Witnesses reported that a white female in her 20s entered the store and demanded money, although no weapon was displayed.
After an extensive investigation and following leads, Fulton Police investigators were able to identify Reed and link her to the crime.
Reed has been charged with one count of Robbery in the 3rd Degree, a class D felony.
She is being held at the Fulton Police lock-up pending arraignment.
In a related investigation, Reed was also charged by the Fulton Police with Petit Larceny regarding an incident in which she allegedly stole a backpack from a vehicle.
The vehicle had been parked at the Family Video Store around the same time frame as the robbery.
