FULTON, NY – On Friday, March 25, at approximately 5:35 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant for the person of Rebecca A. Flugel as she operated a 2009 Kia Rio within the 1200 block of Emery Street in the city of Fulton.
Pursuant to the search warrant, investigators seized 144 bags of heroin from Flugel’s person, police said.
Flugel, 26, of 93 Country Lane, Fulton, was arrested and criminally charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the second degree – Class A Misdemeanor
Flugel was arraigned in Fulton City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
She is due to reappear in Fulton City Court on April 13, at 9 a.m.
The seized heroin has an estimated street value of $2,880.
This investigation is ongoing and further arrests and charges are possible.
The City of Fulton Police Department assisted with the search warrant execution.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, NYS University Police at Oswego, U.S. Border Patrol, Fulton City Police Department and Oswego City Police Department.
