FULTON, NY – Thanks to the generosity of the Fulton YMCA, youth participating in the CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program have been able to beat the heat with a trip to the Y’s swimming pool. Under the supervision of CYO staff and the watchful eye of the YMCA lifeguards, CYO participants cool off with an afternoon of swimming and playing in the Y’s swimming pool.

The Fulton YMCA recently invited participants in Catholic Charities’ CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program to beat the heat with an afternoon of swimming. In the front row are: Avery Stowell, Damien Hickman, Harlie Rose Roberts, Jacob Russell, Kyle Goutermout and Shane Goutermout. In back from left are: Executive Director of the Fulton YMCA, Betty Fadden, CYO Director Jim Smiley, CYO Mentor Coordinator, Stacie Roberts, Christine Khamis and Sheila Oakes.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our CYO participants. It’s nice to see collaboration between two programs that do so much for the youth of Oswego County and I appreciate the efforts of Betty Fadden and her staff at the Fulton YMCA for making this possible,” said CYO Director, Jim Smiley.
