FULTON, NY – Fulton’s annual Memorial Day Salute got off with a bang Friday night.
On Friday evening there were many activities held at Recreation Park on Route 3, West Broadway. Local and nationally recognized groups played music. And then, there were the fireworks.
The largest parade in the county, with more than 100 units and many bands, will kick off in just a few minutes today (Saturday).
This evening, the main feature is Las Vegas award winning Rob Garrett, “King of Diamonds” a Neil Diamond Tribute, performing on the Fulton Savings Bank Stage.
The marching band stand-ins, the Fulton Community Band, the Fulton Dixieland Band, the music of Vince Markowsky and Virgil the Magician will also be performing.
The event hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
