Garafolo’s Renovations Complete

Garafolo’s Importing has completed its renovations to its store on East 9th and Bridge St. in Oswego. For the past 6 months they have been working rigorously to upgrade their entire store.

“We wanted our store to look modern and unique,” said Joe Garafolo, Jr. The renovations started with the deli, as they purchased a new deli case for their wide variety cold cuts and fresh cut meats.

They have just completed phase 2 of the project as they have placed their restaurant (Garafolo’s Sandwich Shop) in the back of their store. The owners thought that it made more sense to have everything under one roof. “It has been a very long and tiring process, but we were determined to finish what we started,” said Garafolo.

Now that the renovations are complete, they are determined to promote the fresh products within their store as well as the new Sandwich Shop where they offer their famous Italian sausage, specialty sandwiches, panini’s and salads. “We make everything fresh each morning, and we believe that our customers will appreciate the fresh unique taste of our products,” said owner Tom Calderone.

Owners Joe Garafolo, Tom Calderone and Joe Garafolo Jr. want to thank all of their customers for being patient during the renovation process as it may have been an inconvenience. They urge the community to explore their new store and hope they enjoy each experience. They are still providing delivery services and extra parking to their customers across the street where the restaurant was previously.
