FULTON, NY – On June 8, Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Iota Chapter will hold a huge 84-family garage sale.
This annual event will be held at All Saints’ Episcopal Church Hall on Academy Street on June 8 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Early bird shoppers may arrive at 7 a.m., but will be charged a small fee.
The proceeds from this annual fundraiser go to fund nine scholarships to high school students throughout the Oswego County school districts.
There will be many “hot ticket items” including two vintage inkwell desks, a vintage quilted wall hanging, Syracuse China, electronics, two Stiffell brass lamps, luggage, tools, rugs, collectibles, holiday items, art, books, and much more.
Come have lunch while you shop.
There will be grilled foods, baked goods, snacks, and soft drinks.
DKG Alpha Iota Chapter is a branch of the larger Delta Kappa Gamma International Society for Key Women Educators.
Delta Kappa Gamma promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education (www.dkg.org).
Alpha Iota Chapter is a local chapter made up of vibrant women educators whose focus is continuing growth and fellowship while meeting the growing needs of the communities in Oswego County and worldwide.
Examples of service Alpha Iota chapter provides include donations of socks and underwear to school nurses for the children in Oswego County schools, scholarships for nine students in Oswego County school districts, the annual Lucy Wing Award, world fellowship donations and Schools for Africa Project.
DKG Alpha Iota Chapter meets seven times per year at Holy Trinity Church in Fulton.
