“The open house was a great success,” said Bowman. “We had a great turnout from many of our loyal customers, and also met a significant number of new families that came in to see our expanded location and products.”

Goosey Lucy moved to the new storefront in early October, and now offers expanded accessories, Melissa & Doug toys, as well as new children’s clothing lines.

“We’re very excited about the many positive comments we’ve received about the store, and greatly appreciate those who attended the open house and our ribbon cutting event,” Bowman added.

Gathered at the ribbon cutting ceremony held at the new store location are from left: Don Belcastro, building owner; Sue Sweet, Third Ward councilor; Emmaline Riester; Madeline Riester; Ethan Riester; Kimberly Bowman-Riester owner; and Ken Riester owner.

“We’re looking forward to the holiday season,” Bowman said. “And we welcome the community to stop in and visit our new location.”

Goosey Lucy is open Tuesday and Wednesday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Sunday noon – 4 p.m.
