OSWEGO, NY – On Friday December 4, at approximately 11:15 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force executed a drug related search warrant on Kayla N. Dagostino, 22, of 150 Rock Island Road, Gouverneur, NY, as she was operating a vehicle northbound on Interstate 81 in the town of Parish.
As a result of the search warrant execution approximately 40 grams of cocaine were seized, police said.
Dagostino was arrested and criminally charged with one count each of the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – Class B Felony
Investigators believe the cocaine was possessed with the intent to be sold in the city of Oswego.
Dagostino was arraigned in Parish Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond.
The cocaine has an estimated street value of approximately $3,000.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, NYS University Police at Oswego, U.S. Border Patrol, Fulton City Police Department and Oswego City Police Department.
