Granby Elementary Honors Retiring Teachers

As the 2009-2010 school year drew to a close, students and staff at Fulton’s Granby Elementary School took time to recognize those faculty members who were retiring. The retiring educators were visited by the school mascot, The Granby Gator, who thanked them for their years of service and dedication to the students in the district and to the Granby Elementary Faculty & Staff. Pictured here with the Granby Gator on their last day of service in the Fulton Schools are (l to r): Anne DeBlois – special education teacher, Mary Jo Mercer – fifth grade teacher, Patricia Hart – teaching assistant/inclusion program, Kathleen Callahan – second grade teacher and Deborah Lawrence – reading teacher. As indicated by the sign, they will be greatly missed.
