Sixty-nine graduating seniors were recognized in a special ceremony and banquet at G. Ray Bodley High School for having achieved high honor academic status all four years of high school. The students were presented with special high honor pins they will wear at graduation.
Following a welcome by GRB Principal Donna Parkhurst, the guest speaker for the evening was introduced. Former graduate Robin Verschneider Meier, from the class of 1990 talked to the students about her memories of growing up in Fulton and wished the students well as they prepare to go to college.
Fulton City School District Superintendent Bill Lynch said, “I congratulate you for this academic achievement and also for the effort and perseverance that you have put forth to get to this celebration.” He called the ceremony one of the shining moments of the school district.
