Great Day for Arts and Music in Oswego on April 28

OSWEGO, NY – The four-hour art and music event commences at noon and will wind up at 4 p.m. on April 28.

Featured will be the art and music from students in kindergarten through their senior year.

Festival of the ArtsThe artwork of many talented students will be on display at OHS, but there is much more added to this year’s event.

Art activities will include not only the art displays, but also inactive activities such  face painting, button making, color wheel cookies, sculpture and jewelry making, card design, ceramic demonstrations as well as an artist sale.

Musical performances will also be included in this year’s “Festival of the Arts” as the OHS Select String ensembles will perform along with the Fitzhugh Park Buccaneer Bell Ringers, the OHS Wind Ensemble, the OHS Percussion Ensemble, the Kingsford Park Fifth and Sixth Grade Chorus, the Oswego Middle School Con Brio and dozens of New York State Scholastic Music Association solo festival performances by students instrumentalists and vocalists.

There is no admission to the event which will be held throughout the Oswego High School.
