GREATER OSWEGO-FULTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOST BUSINESS OUTREACH MEETING WITH CITY OF OSWEGO MAYOR,
Business Community Invited to Roundtable Discussion Focused on Economic Climate in the Oswego Community
The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, together with the Office of Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow, today announced that it will host monthly economic development meetings with the Oswego business community. Mayor Barlow will join the group for its first meeting of 2016, on February 9. The meeting will be held at the Beacon Hotel and begin promptly at 3 PM.
The meeting provide an opportunity for Mayor Barlow to share his vison and initiatives for the community to strengthen Oswego and Central New York’s economy, as well as gain valuable feedback from business owners, managers, and community residents.
“The Chamber knows the importance of connecting local businesses with their elected government officials and is eager to bring this benefit to the people of Oswego. By community members asking Mayor Barlow questions about issues they face it gives him a better idea of changes that need to be made. It also gives Mayor Barlow the chance to tell people about things that he has planned and is currently working on,” stated Greg Mills, director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
“I’m proud to partner with the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce to provide a open platform to communicate directly with our business community so that I may better address their needs.” said Mayor Barlow.
