Fulton, NY – Hair salons throughout Oswego County have teamed with Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program Partnership (CSPP) to raise awareness of breast cancer and the free cancer screenings that are available through the program.
Throughout October participating hair salons will be wearing Ask Me How aprons to trigger conversations on breast cancer awareness and will distribute to their customers free tote bags, pink wrist bands, pens, and information on the Cancer Services Program and the many free cancer screenings that are available through the program.
“We want to spread the word that the Cancer Services Program Partnership is here to help and that no one should delay their annual cancer screenings due to a lack of health insurance coverage,” said Carolyn Handville, program manager for OCO’s Cancer Services Program Partnership.
