HANNIBAL – From volunteerism to athletics to participation in clubs and organizations, Hannibal High School’s Class of 2018 salutatorian Madison LeVea has maximized her time as a member of the Warrior community.
LeVea noted that being part of the Hannibal Central School District family has been a rewarding and humbling experience.
“Everyone knows everyone; that is the beauty of a small town,” she said. “This has allowed me to feel a sense of togetherness and community. Being here has reminded me to stay humble.”
While she holds onto that sense of community, LeVea said she is looking forward to her next chapter at SUNY Binghamton, where she plans on majoring in psychology or linguistics with a minor in Spanish.
Eventually, she said, she may want to pursue a career in linguistics profiling.
“My advice to my classmates is to go out and explore the world,” she said. “There are so many beautiful sights to see. The world holds endless opportunities that need to be taken.”
Madison is the daughter of William “Billy” and Ann “Missy” LeVea.
