Harmony Financial launches Educational Life Planning Series

OSWEGO, NY – Ever wonder what your options are when considering your Social Security benefits?  Curious about how your physical health and nutrition will impact your retirement?

On September 19, Harmony Financial Services will host the first workshop in its new Life Planning Educational Series.

The interactive workshop, which is free and open to the public with no obligation, will feature two educational presentations; Maximizing Social Security presented by Brian Paluso, regional vice-president for Invesco, a leading asset manager offering mutual funds, exchange traded funds, and unit investment trusts, which as of July 31, held $729.4 billion in assets under management, and served clients 150 countries; and Moving Forward to a Healthy Tomorrow presented by Dr. Edward J. Galvin Jr., owner of Port City Chiropractic, and nationally renowned instructor in the Activator Method of chiropractic care.

“This workshop will deal with two life changing events that we will all face as we near retirement,” said Robert Rolfe, owner of Harmony Financial Services. “The information provided by Mr. Paluso will prove invaluable when it comes to making informed decisions regarding filing for social security benefits such as how the benefits are calculated and the effect it has on retirement income. Additionally, Dr. Galvin will focus on smart decisions to optimize physical health and nutrition as you enter your retirement years.”

Harmony Financial Services’ first Life Planning workshop will be held September 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the offices of Harmony Financial Services, 31 E. First St., Oswego.

Light refreshments will be served.
