Harold L. Prior, 83, of Hannibal, died Saturday.
He was born in Hannibal, one of three sons to the late William and Aletha Poorman Prior. Harold was an Army veteran of WW II. He was a member of the National American Legion.
Harold retired as a District Supervisor of the meat department for Penn Traffic, serving several of the local Big M and P & C grocery stores.
He was a private pilot who enjoyed flying and was an amateur radio operator, W2PFS.
In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Prior, who was killed in action during WW II and William Prior.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita J. Kandt Prior; daughter, Sharon (David) Smith of Racine, OH; son, Brian (Mary) Prior of Fulton; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal. Burial with military honors will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
