Provided at no cost to families, the program enrolls three- and four-year-old children and has locations throughout Oswego County.

Head Start’s goal is promoting school readiness.

Classrooms are equipped with a variety of materials and resources that encourage children to explore, create, play, and learn.

In addition, the program includes nutritious meals and snacks, encourages family involvement, offers support services, and provides screenings for vision and hearing.

Head Start Pre-K is a program of OCO, Inc.

Applications are accepted year round and waiting lists will be maintained.

Families who would like more information or would like to complete an application may call 598-4711.

  1. Would love to know how this proceeds, I know a family who was referred to this program from WIC, DSS and a parent educator but have not heard anything. Does this mean they are on the wait list, they call and get a flyer with one little coupon to fill out. Who can explain the program, and calling I have left messages and received no call back. Yes I am a service provider and still get no where.
