The Fulton First United Methodist Church located at 1408 State Route 176 (across from the Fulton Jr. High School) will be hosting a Community Health and Wellness Expo on Sunday, February 28 from 3:00-7:00 pm.
This exciting event is designed to bring area health professionals and organizations together in an effort to increase health awareness and the positive effects it can have both physically and mentally. Health screenings, activities, materials, demonstrations and resources will be available for children, youth and adults to help participants make positive health and behavior changes.
A presentation of “You on a Diet” with Dr. Michael Roizen will be shown at 7:00 pm on large screens in the sanctuary. In addition, children and youth will have the opportunity to join the KidFit 30 Movement, a program that challenges youth to play 30 minutes a day.
This free event is designed for the entire family, young and old, and is open to the public. For more information please contact the Fulton First United Methodist Church office (315) 592-7347, or Expo Director Lynne Kimpland (315) 592-7077, or visit www.fultonfumc.org.
