Heffner Appointed County’s New DSS Commissioner

The Oswego County Legislature has appointed Gregg Heffner of Phoenix as Commissioner of Social Services. Heffner has several years of experience administering social work and mental health programs, and previously served as Director of Social Services for the Oswego County Department of Social Services. He is a former graduate level instructor at Syracuse University’s College of Human Ecology/School of Social Work.
