Helen M. Malone Wiltse, 81, of Liverpool died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.
Born in Hannibal she was raised in Hannibal before moving to Liverpool many years ago. Helen was the personnel manager at Dey Brothers Department Store in Syracuse for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, Eugene, Phillip, John, Francis and Bill Malone.
Surviving: her husband of 61 years, John H. Wiltse of Liverpool; two daughters, Peggy (Michael) Woodford of Williamstown, Mary (Donald) Abulencia of North Syracuse; two sons, Jon (Sara) Wiltse of Albany and David Wiltse of Hannibal; three sisters, Mary and Teresa Patane both of Hannibal, Agnes LaClair of Liverpool; brothers, Maurice Malone of Hannibal and Paul Malone of KY; Eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. There will be no calling hours. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has charge of arrangements.
