HEMPSTEAD, NY – More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Hofstra University Dean’s List for Spring 2013.
Students who began their studies before Fall 2012 must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify.
Those who entered the university after Fall 2012 must earn a grade point average of 3.5.

Local students named to the Dean’s List include:
Alexander Milliken of Pennellville has made the Spring 2013 Dean’s List at Hofstra University.
Alexander, Class of 2013, is majoring in engineering science.
Tessila Abbott of Pulaski has made the Spring 2013 Dean’s List at Hofstra University.
Tessila, Class of 2016, is majoring in chemistry .
