Honor Those Who Have Served

FULTON, NY – Do you have a loved one fighting for our country? Is there a veteran you would like to honor?

Perhaps you would like to thank the men and women who are serving currently. This year, the Fulton Memorial Day Salute Committee is making it possible to do so in the annual Fulton Memorial Day Salute ad booklet that is distributed in connection with the event.

The Fulton service clubs (Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions Club and Sunrise Rotary) along with The Fulton Veterans Council have completed the planning for the 31st Annual Memorial Day Salute to be held on May 25 and 26.

The theme this year is “AMERICA … Worth Fighting For.”

In addition to the business advertisements, the booklet has articles related to the events of the weekend and articles about the 4 service clubs which sponsor it. Now, for the first time, the public will be able to purchase space to remember or honor loved ones who have served in the armed forces, or anyone they wish to honor in memoriam.

For more information or to purchase an In Memoriam line of space in the ad booklet, contact Tom Mirabito, Memorial Day Salute treasurer, at 593-2731.
