Humane Society Launches Shop & Play in Oswego County Summer Raffle

On June 21st, the first day of summer, the Oswego County Humane Society will draw five winners from its Shop & Play in Oswego County Summer Raffle. To date, there are forty-four items in the raffle, all intended to help the winners enjoy their summer in Oswego County.

Murdocks’s Bicycles and Sports has donated a bicycle; Raby’s Ace Home Center has donated an air conditioning unit that will cool up to 1500 square feet; and the Carpenter’s Union Local 747 has donated a dog house, a wishing well, and a picnic table and benches, all constructed in its apprenticeship program.

Other donors to the raffle include Bed, Bath & Beyond, Bev’s Dairy Treat, Burger King, Burke’s Home Center, Cam’s Pizzeria, C& B Farm & Garden, Canale’s Restaurant, Carrie’s Corner Nail Salon, Colosse Cheese Store, Country Cabin, Domino’s Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, Fajita Grill, Friendly’s Restaurant, Fulton Typewriter, Greenhouse Effect, Greenview Country Club, Griffin’s Greens, Hershey’s Ice Cream Parlor, Lighthouse Lanes, Maida’s Floral Shop, Man in the Moon Candies, McDonald’s, Midnight Sun, Mimi’s Restaurant, Oswego Cinema, Oswego Sub Shop, Patz on the River, Paul’s Big M, Pizza Hut, Pizza Villa, Raging River Barbeque, Riverview Wellness Center, Rudy’s, SalleyAnder Soaps, Subway, Tame the Wild Grooming, Vona’s Restaurant, and Willow Tree Farms.

“We are grateful for the support of the Oswego County business community” says Karen Hoffman, President of the Humane Society. “This raffle is our way of letting all of our supporters have an opportunity to find out about each other., and to have fun doing it.”
