OSWEGO, NY – Most Reverend Bishop Robert J. Cunningham is pleased to announce today (Sept. 14) the appointment of Michael Huynh as Associate Director of Campus Ministry in the Diocese of Syracuse.
Effective immediately, Huynh will work with campus ministers across the diocese in addition to his current role at SUNY Oswego.
Huynh holds a Master’s in Pastoral Studies from St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in Rochester and graduated from SUNY Oswego with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Public Justice and a Master’s in Counseling and Psychological Services.
He is the director of Campus Ministry at the Hall Newman Center on the SUNY Oswego campus.
He was previously the director of School Counseling at Bishop Ludden Junior-Senior High School in Syracuse.
Huynh has an extensive background as a retreat facilitator, music director and teacher.
