Important Information Regarding APW School Tax Collection

Please be advised of the following important information regarding school taxes and tax payments for the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District.

School taxes for the district will be collected from September 1 through October 1, 2013 without penalty. Tax payments received from October 2 through October 31 will be assessed with a two percent (2%) penalty. Tax payments will not be accepted after October 31, 2013.

Tax payments in the form of a personal check or money order will be accepted by mail and must be sent to: APW CSD Tax Collector, PO Box 10248, Albany, NY 12201.

All mailed payments must include the collector’s copy of the tax bill. All payments will be received and accepted, without exceptions, according to the United States Post Office post mark on the envelope.

All mailed payments must be for the exact amount. If the check or money order is not for the exact amount, the entire payment will be returned and will be subject to penalties, if applicable.

In lieu of mailing tax payments, district residents can opt to pay their taxes in person at the Key Bank branches located in Parish, Pulaski or Mexico.

The Parish branch is located at 2976 Main Street West, Parish. The Pulaski branch is located at 5763 Salina Street, Pulaski and the Mexico branch is located at 3283 Main Street, Mexico.

Taxes will only be accepted Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

No evening or weekend collections and no collections on September 2 and October 14 due to the Labor Day and Columbus Day holidays.
