Iona M. Leroux, 85 of Fulton, died Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
A native of Tupper Lake and a graduate of Tupper Lake High School, she had resided in the Fulton area for many years. Iona enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Maynard J. Leroux who died in 1997.
Surviving are her children, Gary Leroux (Vicki Smith), Marcy Craven, Callie (Bruce) Benware and Laurie Leroux all of Fulton; brother, Daniel Jessie of Tupper Lake; sister-in-law, Marilyn Leroux of Tupper Lake; four grandchildren, Scott and Kevin Hall, Stacy (Elwin) Hall and Nicole (Jason) Mace; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Thirds Streets, Fulton with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton. There are no calling hours.
