It’s Cool 2B in Lanigan Elementary School

Lanigan Elementary School fourth grade student, Braeden Dempsey knows that “It’s Cool 2B in School.”

Braeden is the school’s first quarter winner of the “It’s Cool 2B in School” attendance drawing.

He was awarded a gift bag packed full of school supplies and a Lanigan Elementary T-shirt for his efforts.

All students who signed and submitted the “It’s Cool 2B in School” attendance pledge this fall and maintained at least a 90 percent attendance rate through the first quarter were eligible for the drawing.

The Fulton City School District recognizes that coming to school every day, on time, is part of being a responsible learner.

This allows students to achieve their personal best in school while laying the foundation for positive educational habits in their future.

Similar drawings will take place at the end of each quarter. Each student who has submitted a signed an “Its Cool 2B in School” attendance pledge and who maintains a 90 percent attendance rate will be eligible for the future drawings.
