“Arty Camp has become a summer time tradition and we look forward to more children enjoying art instruction, dance and theatre classes,” said Alice Lamb, camp director. “Art classes allow children to explore techniques and find new ways to express their creativity. Our dance class focuses on specific dance styles and theatre classes take children to another form of artistic expression while having a lot of fun. Our hands-on art afternoons have grown in size and scale of art projects with exciting projects planned. Children will recycle ordinary objects into art in a variety of ways and create new art using special techniques adaptable to all ages.”

CNY Arts Center is also designated as a Summer Meal Site to offer free lunches to community children 18 and under during the weeks of Arty Day Camp.

Children who attend the lunch will be included in afternoon hands-on art projects at no charge.
