OSWEGO, NY – James D. Livingston Sr., 69, a resident of County Route 6 in the town of Mexico, passed away Thursday January 22, 2015, at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse.
Mr. Livingston was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Harry and Mary (Laronde) Livingston.
He was a graduate of Liverpool High School and a life resident of Central New York.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and served his country in Vietnam.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Livingston was employed with the Kenwell Tool Corp. in Fulton.
He had previously worked at the Patell Industrial Machine Co. in Liverpool.
He was a member of the VFW Post #5885 in Oswego.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Stager) Livingston of Mexico; a daughter, Laura (Steve) Snyder of Brewerton; a son, James (Carol) Livingston Jr. of Oswego; a sister, Nancy Kimberly of Warners; five grandchildren, Danielle, Allison, Evan, Brody and Edy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Livingston.
Funeral services will be private.
There will be no calling hours.
