James W. Bradshaw, 77, a resident of 22 East Fifth St., Oswego, passed away, April 22, 2010 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bradshaw.
He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict; he was a recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
James was employed as a meat cutter for Lazzaroâ€™s Market and worked for various local unions.
He was a lifetime member of the Oswego VFW #2320 and a member of the American Legion.
James loved to sing and play guitar for his family and friends.
Surviving is two daughters, Karen (Ed) Lyndaker of Mansville, NY and Teresa Bradshaw; one son, Thomas (Deonn) Bradshaw of Oswego; one brother, Richard Bradshaw of Syracuse and his fiancÃˆ, Christine Nearbin; five grandchildren and one great- grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Bradshaw, Frank Bradshaw and Tom Bradshaw; one sister, Jane Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Burial will be in St. Paulâ€™s Cemetery, Oswego
