Jason L. Fay, 30, of Fulton, died Saturday April 16, 2011 of Melanoma Cancer at Upstate Medical Center.
He was born March 13, 1981 in Oswego, the son of Daniel (deceased) and Deborah (Blake) Fay.
He attended Oswego and Fulton Schools. He was a football player for the Oswego Buccaneers while going to school for Criminal Justice and graduated from G Ray Bodley in 2000.
Jason was a member of the Order of the Eagle of the Boy Scouts of America and in his free time a Scout Leader for Troop 715 in Fulton.
As a kid Jason enjoyed racing and was a member of Syracuse Quarter Midget and Microd Club. As an adult he was a NASCAR fan, Bengals fan, and an avid camper and fisherman.
Jason is survived by his son, Mathew Fay of Fulton; his mother Deborah of Fulton, his sisters, Shannon (Santoro) Gates and Cassandra Santoro Loosen, both of Fulton; his paternal grandmother Patricia Fay of Oswego; the love of his life Rosemary and her children, Zachary, Daniel and Tyler; 5 nephews, 1 niece, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held 10a.m. Thursday, at Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 2-4pm and 6-8p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
