FULTON, NY – Jerry Pitcher, 68, of Martville, NY, died Saturday December 12, 2015, in St. Joseph Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born in Fulton, the son of the late Donald and Harriet (Seymour) Pitcher.
Mr. Pitcher was employed with Golden Sun Bus Company, prior to becoming the bus mechanic for the Hannibal Central School District, where he worked for 25 years.
Mr. Pitcher enjoyed watching car racing, especially when his sons were racing.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Pitcher of Martville; and his children, Jeremy (Heather) Pitcher of Fulton, Shannon (Jennifer) Pitcher of Fulton, Shane Pitcher of Martville, Shanna Pitcher of Oswego, Laurie (Phil) Slocum of Fulton, Rhonda (Tom) Trepasso of Fulton and Troy Brown of Fulton; and his siblings, Dean (Debbie) Pitcher, Donna Patrick, Dale Pitcher, Stephen Pitcher, Michael (Chris) Pitcher, Sheryl Pitcher, Darryl (Glenda) Pitcher, Harold Pitcher, Ronald Pitcher, Donald (Gail) Pitcher, Kay Lindsley, Audrey MacEwen and Barbara (Rolland) Phillips; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Pitcher was predeceased by his siblings, Dion and Reginald Pitcher, Marilyn Bennett and Valerie Hopkins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday December 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the family’s home at 5 Morin Drive, Fulton, NY.
