John “Stoker” Czeriak, 88


John “Stoker” Czeriak, 88, of Fulton died Sunday at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego.

He was born in Fulton and has remained a life resident of Fulton. Mr. Czeriak was a United States Veteran having served in the Navy during WWII. Mr. Czeriak retired from the Fulton Post Office after 23 years of service. He enjoyed being a member of the Fulton Polish Home, the Fulton VFW Post #569 and the Oswego Country Club.

He is survived by his sisters Anna Burnett, and Mary West both of Fulton and Catherine Barsuch of Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating. Burial with military honors by the Fulton VFW Post #569 will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
