Southwest Oswego United Methodist Church will host the Port City Theater production of “John, His Story” on Sunday, October 12th at 3pm.

“John, His Story” is written by actress-playwright Jeannette Clift-George and enjoyed a successful off-Broadway run in 1997 at Lamb’s Theater. The play has toured internationally and continues to receive critical acclaim in productions across the country.

“John, His Story” recounts the miracles of Christ as told through the Gospel of John. ” The story is told in a nontraditional manner”, said Nancy Fox, Port City Director. “These are biblical stories told in a contemporary portrayal flowing from event to event led by John. “John, His Story” is a “remarkable, dynamic and delightfully lyrical play” that cast Robert Fontana, Larry Eason, Kristin Cook and Beth DeRousie performing 25 different roles.
